Fourth Crusade irreparably damaged all efforts at unity, and the final chance for unification passed in 1453 after the Easter Roman Emperor submitted the church in hopes of getting help and got 200 archers in return for his submission.
As of today, Pope will never give up his primacy, no matter for illegitimate and neither Constantinople nor Moscow patriarchs would submit to him. This would be the biggest theological sticking point that can't be resolved. Rest could be ironed out or ignored as minor disagreement.
Now would Orthodox and Catholic worlds even be for unification? I can concretely tell you that the Orthodox wouldn't, or at least the biggest and most important ones wouldn't.
