>>20800953It happened slowly over decades. A tweak here and there and eventually it all tastes off.
The tomatoes have no flavor, the bread is full of sugar, the luxury clam chowder has onions bean oil instead of cream, there are blueberry muffins out there with fake blueberries in them, and the drippings from the chicken and beef on the grill give off black smoke that smells like burning plastic.
Today I did something I haven’t done in ages, I was feeling lazy so I bought a package of frozen French fries to cook at home. I put them in the oven for tater goodness. Instead of the smell of hot potatoes my kitchen soon filled with a smell similar to the above mentioned plastic meat and chicken. I can only guess this has something to do with whatever oil was on those precut fries. I’ll go back to making them from scratch I guess.
Anyway, there are clearly some systemic problems that few people want to acknowledge and most don’t know any better.
