>>22742009Fair enough, that doesn’t really answer my question though.
There are some around, but it does seem like most of them all look and dress the same. I’ve seen broccoli headed zoomers like deep and alternative music which took me by surprise because it’s like are these people the equivalent of preps maybe, jocks? But no, they hide behind a layer of homogeneity.
There are some though. I just found out about the case of Caroline Carr, she’s kid of alternative, and went from being a tik tok influencer to becoming a musician, but like because she was already internet famous.
A lot of people say she’s a poser, but all these people (especially zoomers) gatekeeping and calling her a poser, I just have to ask, where are they? I guess it would take a literal black kid with an Afro to explain definitions on what being subversive and punk rock is because real life has become like some shitty movie where only black people demographically represent authenticity, and maybe anything that once had to do with being working class.
Where are all these other people out there doing anything remotely “subversive” or doing anything interesting that goes against the status quo, in fact, why the fuck are they on a shitty platform like tik tok gatekeeping so much?
