Doomer atheist here, please convert me to Christianity.
Basic questions that fuck with me:
>How do you answer to science? For example, that the universe is 13.8 billion years old, evolution, and that life is generally thought to be able to spontaneously generate(Miller Urey Experiment) and contradict Genesis in its entirety? If it's just a metaphor, then for what, and why include it and teach it for 2000 years as literal?
>Why would God tolerate evil and sin if he is omnipotent? Why would he sacrifice his son for something he could change on his own whim?
>Why would God tolerate so much confusion about his message? For example, schisms and heresies within Christianity, the rise of other religions, and a contradictory bible written by other people as opposed to Jesus himself like in the Quran which was dictated by Muhammad himself during his lifetime?
>How do you reconcile that huge swathes of the christian traditions and stories are taken directly from their pagan predecessors? Genesis being a rehashed Sumerian myth and the Catholic church being inherited Roman traditions, things like that.
>If Christianity is God's chosen religion, why has it historically struggled to conquer the world and been in recession for many years even in it's homeland? What exactly makes Christianity the true faith over others?
>Why is Jesus King of the Jews if he refers to them as a "Synagogue of Satan"? What is the significance of Judaism to Christ in general?
Those are just a few questions of mine, I'm sure I'll get a lot of le christcuck and insults but hopefully somebody who has converted has found answers for these.
