One of your little friends came to NZ thinking the same thing, he found out the hard way that jobs are not easy here and no amount of his 'liberal ways' saved him and basically within 3 months he had no job, no money and was on the verge of being deported. He luckily came across my brother who spoke with my parents who lodged him in our upstairs for 6 months without rent or charging him for anything until he found a job working for a Catholic Op shop because of my parents kindness, taught to them by Hindu faith and culture, and that they had no one to look out for them when they came here so they did not want someone else suffering the same way.
Now he pays rent, his wife is now here as a nurse and all because my parents are some of the best people in terms of helping others and they are staunch hindus.
