The tonic water has quinine. The cure is zinc sulfate, the quinine helps most cells absorb zinc. The vitamin C is for the rest.
Add a z-pack for residual bacterial infections.

The good stuff you should be eating (eggs/meat/nuts/dark chocolate) has it, but a supplement is still a good idea to take. They come in combos with magnesium too which helps if you lift.

Try a tonic water syrup with higher quinine content. I have a bottle at home from Portland Soda Works. There are others that make it. I’ve handled cinchona bark before and eaten some, so their syrup is legit. But do shop around. A bottle of syrup yields like 16-32 cups of tonic water.

I lost my sense of smell and taste on Sunday. Went to go get tested and it came back positive. I bought a case of pic related and don’t feel any other symptoms so far (day 5). I drink this tonic water with quinine (37.5mg per bottle) along with my orange juice. It’s working so far as I don’t feel sick at all.

You need 200-300mg to get noticeable effects. Store bought tonic water is too weak (around 50-70mg per 1L bottle).

If you can get em, buy 300mg quinine tablets for leg cramps. Those may or may not be hoarded, and thus unavailable, depending on boomer facebook hoaxes in your area.
