I dislike it in this show because it doesn't fit the vibe/theme of the show.
"oh okay, random supposed to be sexy girl, in this show that is pretty somber/action oriented, and really has no precedent of fan service? why? how does that help establish the atmosphere you are going for?"
Like if you want her to be sexy, you should make her incidentally sexy. A skin tight/body flattering t-shirt would have worked just as well as a bikini.
Hell even a tube top would have been better.
But with the bikini top it's just like "Mandatory fanservice *STAMP*"
