I was born in 2001 so obviously I never could experience them in person, but I've listened to a shit ton of music from that time and my favorite band from that period is easily AIC. I've never watched a movie from the 90s that I didn't like either and I'd say the best video games came out during that time as well. Politically speaking it wasn't absolutely horrible compared to now, Bill Clinton was in office, but the economy was in a bubble and doing amazing. Technology was the most advanced it had ever been, but it wasn't to the point where everyone revolved around it and it was the early stages of the internet where most of it wasn't fully explored and social media wasn't a thing. I'm sure there are anons on here who have grown up in that time period and good share their experiences with my zoomer ass.
