The only reason the Reich was unable to use this technology to defeat the "Allies" was because it became viable too late in the war. By the time it was developed sufficiently, Germany's industrial base was bombed all to hell.
They retreated to their base in Antarctica, and certain less-known bases in Argentina, and attempted to regroup.
They were found out, and although they had some capability by then, the "Allies" had nuclear weapons and still had the ability to zerg-rush them. They were forced to deal, which the U.S. was very amenable to, because they wanted control over this technology, rather than blowing it all up.
The Reich still exists.
It's not what it used to be, and its members are almost all the results of controlled breeding.
They are not aliens, but very different from the run-of-the-mill human.
