>>10058681Anon you're clearly not an idiot, so I'll do my best to explain Christianity and why people cant agree and what's a logical place to find yourself in it.
Christianity is for all people, and most people are average intelligence (50% sub 100 IQ) whereas you're a smart guy, say in the 115 range, who knows.
Now, God speaks to everyone in the most logical way for them to understand. To the idiots he makes rules, and rituals, and gives them a figurehead (think catholic) because they need that structure to do maximal good.
To the smarter ones he opens up deeper concepts of charity, self sacrifice, the essence of love. To them, the logic of the bible is evident, and they align with it in their actions, thus becoming an agent of God.
The issue is that often, both groups look at the other as if they're wrong. I'll tell you anon, I dont regularly go to church. But I understand God, and I live out of love for Him and His creation.
God works as a system that maximizes good for his children. Figure out your position in it, continuously think about it, refine your understanding based on evidence, and you will be the most Christian of all Christians out there. Regardless of what Catholics will think.
