You say that you are delusional but I postulate that you are merely in denial about your reality. Perception has ways of twisting our self image to become the most wretched thing we can imagine but it is just that. A perception. Something that can be changed with diligence and determination.
It is obvious you have the material but lack fulfillment from it. That must be very difficult to handle on a daily basis. To see all the materials you've worked so hard for only to see piles of excrement and hollow achievements.
Do not fret my friend for your life has only just begun and you have many years to explore that which you desire and follow the paths to attain it but you will never achieve what you desire unless you can pontificate exactly what you are, who you are and what it is you truly desire. Once you can understand what it is that will bring you fulfillment then you can work towards it.
At no point should you feel obliged to another to assume the mantle of anything other than what you are. Society as a whole has no bearing on who you are or who you are to become. You alone are the architect of your own reality and self.
Take action towards what you desire in spite of the fears and reservations you have as the fulfillment from attaining what you desire will outweigh the material you have ten fold.
