She wouldn't buy me games because games were a waste of money. She would scream at me if I came back from school and decided to relax a bit. She considered the time she spent screaming at me and the time I spent taking a breather entertainment- and thus unproductive. She would force me to study and only study. She would also control my friend circle to be the children of the people she knew, so basically yeah it was as if I was locked in an attic for the first 16 years of my life
