nutmeg contains psychoactove substances iirc myristicin (or acid) and safrole
I dunno of safrole really is psychoactive but I must mention it is a precursor for MDMA synthesis
though I must stress that nutmeg doesn't have amphetamine-like effect, I found the overall experience mpre akin to datura and canabinoids- more mellow with a tinge of dissosociative in early stages with minimal visual effects
at doses from 1 nutmeg all the way to 3 nutmegs the effects can be observed without many physical negative effects
>tl;dr:
it just is but it's 2nd rate type of drug only good for if you're really craving

except minus the weird obscure shit and replace that with amphetamines, methamphetamines and methiopropamine (basically tesco brand meth back when research chems were legal)
i've done lsd, BK2cb, 2cb and 2ci as well
did all but two of those before turning 15

I went abnormally hard on drugs from 13 to 17 years old and I suffered through psychosis for 2 years. It was a deeply unpleasant hell to live through and I'd stopped going to school
I'd say it changed me, but the negatives kind of went away as I quit them. Took a long time but I feel pretty good with myself these days

Didn't even do my gcses until I had 3 months left and I've managed to get into uni
Quitting em wasn't too hard. Had to break up with my semi-abusive manipulative bf at the time to get out of them but I never looked back.
Oo forgot to mention MDMA ketamine and dmt
I still very very occasionally have a bit of the above, if I'm at a party or an event like leeds fest

Nutmeg made me feel kind of drunk but made me feel very sick, me and a buddy mixed a whole packet in water a drank it.
It wasn't worth it in my opinion, but maybe we over did it.
