>>10087659I concur entirely with this post, but would add that, bizarrely enough, /qa/ (at times) has possibly the largest number of posters who have been around longer than a decade (as a percentage of total people who frequent the board). They don't really expose themselves unless there's a nostalgia or "what was 4chan like in 20XX" thread, though, and I admit their presence definitely doesn't keep the old ways alive in any meaningful way on that board.
/f/ is pretty much the sanctuary of the entire internet at this point. It's the only (social) place I know of that you can go, and for a few minutes, almost feel like you're "home" again.
