>>10124404the Zero FXS seems more geared for paved roads, you'd have to get a chain kit for it (it is belt driven) and get off road tires to make it a dedicated innawoods bike.
But it's advantage over something like the KLX250 is that even though it is electric it can go zero to sixty much faster, (not really a requirement though for my purposes)
But an advantage with the FXS is that it has no gears to shift. it's just
>Twist throttle, go faster>>10124409>field battery swaps available?if you get the 3.6 version, yeah. But the drawbacks of the smaller battery just make it not attractive.
So really, if I'm being objective. What the FXS has over the KLX that >I< personally care about is
>Silent (huge)>No gear shifting (a slight plus, I can drive manuals and I don't doubt I would be able to learn to drive the KLX) But the drawbacks are
>Price (at least 6k more)>range limit (40-100 miles depending on usage)>long charge time >need to get a chain kit and off road tires>aftermarket parts and repairs I'm sure would be a nightmare to findSo really. KLX wins, IF IT WASN'T SO FUCKING LOUD
