- immaculate sound directing
- lots of striking imagery, symbolism; great backgrounds, very solid animation
- each revue has its own feel (episode 8 had the best one) and the song lyrics are tailored specifically for them; combined with above points, honestly provides an experience you won't find anywhere else
- very tightly paced so some supporting characters perhaps don't receive as much focus as you'd like (not a problem for me)
- can be difficult to understand what it's trying to do without knowledge of Takarazuka (show doesn't provide any)
- Hikari is too deadpan for some people
