They have a different set up than us and thus suffer from different problems: autists only see the good because they Japan doesn't suffer from the same problems as they do, while the bad remains a foreign non-issue for them.
Japan is unironically a really nice civilization/culture/etc.. They've retained their national identity, they're a 1st world nation and yet they still possess what one would consider an 'entho-state' when compared to western nations, and their culture hasn't been lost in the reeds of modernity, but instead has flourished and become incredibly intoxicating.
The other thing about it is the West is losing the culture war when it comes to cartoons. You might not think cartoons are 'important', but they are in their own way: they're a readily consumable and extremely approachable piece of art and media that demonstrates a little picture of your animator's country, culture, mythos, etc.. The world used to be INFATUATED with American cartoons; Disney, Warner Brothers, they could do no wrong, but that dream is over.
Japan now RULES the world of animation and everyone else is a simp to their intoxicating media and the uncontested skill of their artists.
I know that must sound INCREDIBLY fucking cringy, but even if you think Japan is ruining things: you need to reconcile and acknowledge the strengths of your enemy if you're ever going to defeat them.
