For example, in this situation he's talking about how common it is for there to be people on reddit with an personality like the one from OP's picture - people who do not care about anything beyond hedonism and efficiency, forsaking all tradition and quality as to further improve their modern style of life.
Of course, I hardly doubt that's the case. Reddit is mostly normalfags going on about their stuff with unfunny lives, but the truth is that there are an awful lot of the people as I described, and those are the ones who pop up the most.
