Today i'm hosting a TF2 server for bant yet again. This is the second time after last week was successful. The server is being hosted in North America and have a maximum of 16-20 people. No meme maps or gamemodes, just classics like 2Fort, Badlands, Harvest ,etc.
This week we'll be having some halloween maps and gamemodes. The IP will be posted once the server is online, later today.

For now, go into Settings -> Advanced and enable developer console.

I was thinking a remix of an existing map that we like, and then add in a /bant/ meme museum, an embassy with all of our most common flags, and a few secret rooms.

Sort of like Mario Kart 2 v30 but less obnoxious.

There are existing touhou maps on Gamebanana but they're awful. You can rip assets from them like the Hakurei Shrine and SDM to use maybe.

I was actually think about using an existing map and adding some 2hu, 4chan, and bant related things to it.

I was thinking of using either: Harvest, 2fort, Suijin as a base since pretty much they are both familiar and open enough that new editions could be done fairly easily.

Thats actually an idea I had. Each spawn would also be decorated with the girls of their respective shrines.

Red for Harukai (because reimu’s colorscheme is red) and Blue for Moriya (because Sanae, Kanako, Suwako, and epesically Nitori have blue as a major part of their color scheme).

harvest is usually accepted as being the best. but if you're gonna play a map like hightower or harvest like an arena, why not put some arena maps on rotation like sawmill or watchtower?

I decided on basing it on Suijin since it is the most Japanese and Touhou looking map in the game.

I can add pretty much anything you recommend. But I do have two ideas for the map.
1. The main building will have its exterior decorated with the most common flags found on /bant/. Sort of like an international embassy or something.
2. I want to add in a bunch of secret areas that are away from the main map area, and can be navigated using Yukari’s gaps to quickly get around.
3. I am thinking about having a miniature version of the Palanquin Ship float around the far side of the map.
4. A secret Kappa shrine in the waterfall.

Neat. Maps take long to download from the TF2 client so try and keep the map within reasonable constraints. Preferably at 16mb or below but I can do less than 40.
