Can you imagine growing up with smartphones?
My entire life there was no such thing as an easy to pull out camera.
I'm grateful but also sad that nothing in my life was saved.

Like, you had to literally invest in cameras when i grew up.
You could buy a disposable, but you only buy them when you're expecting things to happen.
Kids these days have no idea how amazing it is to capture their entire childhood with their phone.

It was different. Another thing kids won't ever understand.
One of my most vivid memories is seeing somebody absolutely destroying Mortal Kombat 2.
That's something you just don't forget.
There were almost 0 resources on getting good at games.
To see sombody just fuck a game in it's ass was something to remember.

My school had a single BBC Micro with 16k ram. Everything else was books and real work. No Wikipedia, no Google, a library. I've always been super ocd careful with my stuff so still have some sentimental items from my younger days.
