The year is 2050. It's been just over one year since the Arume invaded earth. The Resistance has dug their heels in across the globe in order to hold them off.

February 3rd of the same year, a Resistance group in Kyoto, Japan, have planned a mission to scout a nearby island off the northern coast. Two squads are going to find suitable locations for a secret facility where the Resistance plan on studying Arume technology.

You, the players, are one of the squads, lead by Colonel Holt, tasked with this mission. It's simple, locate an area suitable for a small research base and make sure the island is empty.
