-"you can't do that on television" aired 1979 to 1981. It is Core, not late gen x.
-)Black Cauldron was culturally irrelevant for gen X as only 6 people saw it in theaters and Disney didn't even release it on VHS until 1998. It was completely buried for over a decade.
-Same was true for Oliver & company, the other major Disney box office bomb of the 80s as it opened against "land before time" and was humiliated. It was never seen again until 1997 when it finally got a VHS release. Disney buried their mistakes.
-Ducktails was the hit cartoon of the late 80s, rivaled only by TMNT, and it is missing
-Rescue rangers was not gen x, it ran 1990-1993 and was part of Disneys early 1990s series of cartoon hits (alongside tailspin,darkwing duck, and goof troop).
Pic related was the biggest animated hit of the 80s and it is completely missing on the chart.
