1910's it was a sensible, conservative society, but by the 1930 it was transformed into a burlesque shithole. By the end of the 1930's it was transformed back into a sensible, conservative society. Then by the 1960's it was back to being a burlesque shithole. It's almost as if for a short period of time a certain infestation was temporarily subdued.
