Is having a waifu really that degenerate?

I work out almost daily. My health is significantly better than that of most people here in the US.
I have a decent job with good pay.
I started to read more (I read 2 books every month).
I started learning German, which is what my anchestors spoke before they came year 2 generations prior.

Why does it matter that I like a specific fictional character?
