I had an ex girlfriend do something like that however not anywhere near as bad. we dated for a years in college and went our separate ways. she wanted to be in the city, I just wanted to go back to the country. nice girl solid 7.5 pretty and from a good family. her uncle is my insurance broker. solid Christian family.
I guess she dated a guy in the city for years and right around 30 he dumped her basically an 20 y/o version of her.
she went on a trip around the world and came back completely crazy. she was in the area visiting her folks and she stopped by and I had hard time hiding my shock.
she used to be attractive and an over all pleasant person to be around. however these days she's just looks like any other feminist. most of the pleasantness gone and spouting feminist garbage. hugging her revolted me and I only did it out of civility. it was a weird and cold meeting. I haven't seen her since and her uncle just helplessly shrugged his shoulders when I asked him about it.
maybe being jaded isn't the reason for all of them but something definately happens and completely ruins them.
