I agree with the first bit, I too want an equal, not somebody whom I have to babysit. An adult, not an oversized child. But women are women. If they could do and behave like men do, they wouldn't be women anymore. The fault lies with those who spoil them and enable that kind of behaviour. They act like that because they can get away with it, because that's the easy way to live.
I want a woman like what you described in the second paragraph (minus the superior part, I want us to be equals, nothing more, nothing less). Now whether such a woman exists or not, who knows. If I won't find one then I'm perfectly content living alone. But I won't "settle" for just anybody.
