huh, it's always been me myself irl who liked kpop. i only listened to music at the time though, no other content.
found /mu/kpg at 2014 myself, if we want to talk about "community" but i think that lessened my enjoyment of kpop at the end, rather than contribute to it. there were some fun times such as watching livestreams of shows and concerts together and even some of the bickering was fun but at the end it got to me, the shitflinging was too much and it went places that were too much for me. calling songs shit and idols ugly i could live with it but some people were downright cruel, wishing for groups they don't like to disband, shitting on groups for not being successful enough and not making enough money, calling idols whores, etc., wanting for idols to die, etc.
