so here's what happened yesterday. i was on the train, but there was this drunk gypsy playing music off his phone. how do i explain gypsies so you understand? so gypsies are an ethnic minority here in bulgaria, they're all extremely obnoxious and aggressive and it's like they're all in a gang. if you fuck with one gypsy, he or she has the power to summon 10 other gypsies (usually relatives, they have big, tight-knit families) in record time to beat you half to death
knowing this, i didn't say anything to the gypsy for playing his dumb gypsy music but some other passengers got into some kind of verbal confrontation with him. he was pretty small and was in no state to fight so i ignored it. but then at some point i look back and i see he had drawn a knife and was waving it around this couple's faces. so i got up and took his knife. it wasn't hard, i was behind him, it had a long handle and he had a very loose grip on it. now gypsies are very cowardly when alone so of course he didn't do anything about it. but he called his family to wait for him at the train station to beat me up. i told the conductor this and she called the cops to wait for us at the train station. sure enough the cops were there and they took him in no problem. thankfully when the altercation happened we were only 15 minutes away from the station so there wasn't a family of gypsies waiting for me yet.
so i took a cab to the place i was supposed to stay. now when something like this happens, gypsies usually start roaming around town looking for the person they got into it with. this being a small town and what with me having to go out to get food and such i didn't want to take my chances for the next couple of days i called a relative to come pick me up and drive me back home and here i am, cucked out of my hiking trip but thankfully dodged getting beat by 10 gypsies.
