Has this whole trend about being distrustful of women always been around, or is it a more recent development?
Aside from /pol/'s ramblings, do you think that there are geniune reasons for this mistrust?

I'm not looking to have that kind of discussion, I'm just wondering. I have plenty of doubts myself, but at the end of the day most people, even from such a site as this, want the affection of another and to give affection to another. Are we, or are we not meant to share our lives with someone.
