I unironically have trichophagia (compulsive hair eating). I eat my own body hair (yes including pubes) and the worst thing is that I do eat without noticing it. It is really bizarre.

My entire pubic zone is a combination of stubbles with long strands inbetween (due to pulling it out). It really sucks tbqh

If it makes you feel better, I had a similar habit where I ate bits of my fingernails. I didn't bother cutting/trimming them with a nail cutter. I just ate off the white parts. I stopped later once my shits became painful due to nail bits.
