>>10501738Probably we do, seeing as you are more into hauntings than I am. I'm more interested in witchcraft. Anyway, you're right from that perspective. All we seem to have now in that regard are greentexts that read like cheap creepypastas.
>/pol/ shit or religious beliefs thrown into the mixSee, I wouldn't have anything against /pol/ if they stopped driving other boards into the grave. /lit/ is a prime example. It was great before most of the catalog got filled with /pol/ and /r9k/ cringe. And in that regard, I think the latter is even worse. At least /pol/ can come up with something interesting every once in a while.
>an unverifiable/unfalsifiable recreational escape from "reality" whenever the latter is felt to be too mundaneWell said. It's becoming more and more difficult to tell the difference between a larp and a serious post, though I'm afraid we have more of the former than the latter now.
Now that I typed all this out I realised how much this entire site has decayed over the years. Sure, places like /b/ were shit even ten years ago, but the interest boards used to be much better. There's no better alternative to any of them, that's what keeps me going back.
