>>10580359i love chinese food so i think it's great obviously. but chinese restaurants are run by chinese so that's no surprise. jap food is hit or miss because we just don't have japanese people here. a lot of the sushi is really good, but that's so mainstream i don't even consider it representative of jap food. but i've had some good miso soup.
korean food i was generally unimpressed with, even though both times i've had it were in restaurants owned by koreans
i've never bothered trying indian food because it doesn't interest me and the only SEA food i've tried was a thai restaurant once. it was alright, nothing special. had a mildly spicy sauce with some fish balls. idk what was up with that sauce because later in the evening i burped and some stomach acid shot up and rekt my throat. constant sharp pain. spent the entire night drinking water because it was the only way to relieve the pain.
if you want stories about lameass fake asian food, we have this one "asian" chain called "wok to walk" that is mainly staffed by bulgarian teenagers and everything they have is honestly hot garbage. but i hate fried rice and fried noodles in general and that's all they have so maybe i'm biased. but it honestly seemed less flavorful than asian food in general
