They feel uncomfortable in their bodies the same way somebody who always thinks they're fat or somebody who always thinks they're too small does, they constantly seek to change it so it will fit their notion of what they *really* look like, and not just their body but their hobbies, voice, everything, just trying to handle their dysphoria.
You haven't talked with anybody who believes women should look like women and be sex objects, or the same with men, until you've talked to trannies, and it's all because they're mentally ill or in some cases have a fetish trying to legitimize it.
This all exists in direct contrast to those who oppose gender norms of course, but everything at the moment is composed of unholy alliances where everybody is taking whatever help they can get or others feel they need to help others, so it will continue until it is forced to break.
