Anyone else notice tech has been progressing a lot more slowly than it had used to?
It seems like for the first 35 years of my life, everything seemed to be accelerating, however, since around 2008 or so, tech hasn't changed all that much. Maybe some speed gains here or there, some refinement, but no big breakthroughs, like the smartphone and whatnot.
Anyone find this slowdown a little peculiar and maybe a little scary?
