>>10610340 >>10610333American cities sucked from the start, endless grid mazes due to no urban planing, no sustainability, smog and asbestos from factories and coal plants, almost all of them were built with the car in mind leading to the hopelessly contested traffic jam nightmares of today, and then you have the fact that they're both abusive corrupt police states as well as crime ridden at the same time.
New York in particular is a cluster fuck of hundred year old pipes and tunnels that constantly explode and collapse half of which were forgotten due to being hundreds of years old and the only way to get water to the inhabitants is burning billions in oil to transport water to towers half hardheadedly to all the sky scrappers with trucks and helicopters further making them unsustainable and therefore expensive as hell despite the severe lack of quality of life that would be improved anywhere else.
There's a reason people want to live in European and Asian cities but avoid Amerimutt cities like the plaque and that's because they're absolute shit to live in while the latter was actually planned out for it's citizens to live in comfortably as apposed to being rent slaves.
Pic related is in middle Africa, I'd rather live here than in New York but frankly I just hate cities in general so maybe I have a little bit of a bias.
