Must just be the consequences of our new tech, same as how the previous revolutions in it caused unforseen problems in the past. There's also the economic aspect of things; at least in my country, people are working harder for less, which is hardly conducive to finding a parter and raising a family. It does seem at times that the only way to solve these things is to change it fundamentally, but how that should be done I have no idea. I'm cautiously hopeful, nonetheless.
