Most anons are here to just have fun. Some (often the same) anons here are also actually talking about serious issues, as anons.
/b/ was once a serious helpdesk. That role has since been dispersed around the rest of the boards, simply based on the interests of anons as anons.
The same thing holds, though. It will always hold. As an anon.
