There are MANY kinds, but there's not very much difference, really.
Maybe it's just because I've personally tried, like, 3-4 out of dozens of kinds that grow here, so yeah, you have to be dedicated to try them all and become somewhat of a watermelon sommelier to find out all the flavors available and distinguish them from each other.
