Well, that's unfortunate but sometimes these things happen. Assuming you didn't go out of your way to do it, it's alright... it's not the end of the world. And there are so many variables that could play into any sort of mood you, or they, were in that would result in them getting their feelings hurt.
Don't beat yourself up over it; your feelings will get hurt soon enough anyway and there's not a whole lot anyone can do to prevent that.
