it's certainly the dismissiveness of it that bothers me. the tone to me comes across less as "oh yeah i liked music better in the 2nd gen" and more of "it's common knowledge girls' generation and tara are the greatest groups kpop that will ever come out of the genre and that is a given fact that only contrarians would dispute, so there's no point in dwelling on it."
it's like taking the same attitudes people have towards elvis or the beetles and applying them to artists that were in their stride less than a decade ago
i'd say the opposite actually. noun seems to be quite fashionable and it just happens that the styles she cares to pursue are hilariously old while skimming the heejin folder it looks like as far as kpops go she really just wears whatever. i suppose those are both bumpkin things to do though so maybe you're onto something
