Is anybody else occasionally inspired by the things humans can do? You read about men coughing up their own lungs and charging at enemies, and you wonder what is so unique about us that we will do this despite it not helping us at all, that we can believe in something that is so contrary to our seemingly individual genetic nature, that whatever idea it is, nationalism or commitment, is able to make us overcome some of the most extreme and animalistic desires we have?
