The mythos is a cool setting that's led to a lot of worthwhile spinoffs, and sometimes he stops getting in his own way with WORDS WORDS WORDS long enough to write striking visual passages that stay with you long after you put the book down. I'm from /pol/, so his racist opinions aren't exactly a problem for me.
