Help me believe in God

Help me out /pol/. Part of me wants to believe that there's more to this hell on earth than what we see around us. But how in the holy mother of fuck am I supposed to believe in and presumably respect/fear/idolize a God who has created immeasurable, endless suffering without turning a blind eye to the realities surrounding me?

Children dying, animal suffering, innocents slaughtered, leftist politics. The lies, the deceit. How can I worship something that started this? How can I believe in God without becoming a narcissist or having a labotomy?

let's say you were stranded on an island, and there were two tribes. one tribe kills little girls and eats them, the other tribe is good and caring, let's say the cannibals are winning wars against the good people, does that mean god is on their side and they are more probable?
you could say instead that god has given us an internal compass to find him, but is it also not the case that different people are drawn to different things.

there are diff interpretations

one is that evil is simply the rejection of good, meaning the rejection of god, and the result of it
god allows free will, and that manifests itself into bad parents, bad governments, diseases, etc, all of which are in one way or another coming from (the deception / rebellion of) satan

another is that all things / all power (including the evil ones) are from god. either as a punishment (genesis), or as a test (job) or just because he wants to a higher reason / to teach a lesson (hardening the hearth of pharoh)

another reason you could say is there is also an evil god, which you reject, and a good good, which you would want to follow

and another ofcourse is that god is just evil / chaotic, and that there is no salvation, only further torture etc. but even if that were the case, why would you still not have hope that there is a savior / something greater that would be able to overcome it

Thanks fren. You've made me realize that I should rephrase my stance as - why should I respect God? On that small chance that there is something after this - I just can't see myself doing anything other than twatting the cunt in his pearly jaw. I see animals as living things that have merely evolved differently to us, and if there is something after this then I can't see why every single living being wouldn't be excluded from it. They all have the same credentials imo. Our big brains might allow us to call each other niggers on the internet, but isn't god something we've simply made up to fill a void?

I want to believe, I guess. Maybe at my most desperate times. But in trying I become angry that if he does exist, then there's something ultimate to direct my hatred at.

God is defined as that being than which nothing can be more Good. Therefore God is the Form of Goodness.

This proves a platonic version of God. Abrahamic requires faith in revelation.

i can't say with a certainty but there have been guesses

some say that it's a cycle of re-birth, the baby and the cat will be back, in a slightly better form (/ family / etc)

That goodness didn't just materialize from nothing, that's why you have faith it comes from a source equally good. People are kind, people like to please people. These people have certain believes, at least you think. You then try to please them by doing wheat they 'like' but in the process you become more and more unhappy because what you do is unnatural.
There is a war on the idle state of mind. No state wants you to do what you please, they all, and business, want you to do a specific thing against nature.
However, you fool, the human you are, start to self hate. Being in therapy is the hardest thing one can do, because then one is idle. This will always backfire.
The Idle state is a natural one, if you detest it, because you want to please a certain lesser god, society, self critique, then you will hate yourself.
You could argue that the snake in the garden was the first example of a human too kind and listened and followed the serpent thereafter.
If you undue self hate by understanding the mechanism in which you change your views, life will become enjoyable and trust in God is restored.
It is like people say, the stories, that there is just ONE one listens to and that is God. That implies don't worship people that change your views to self hate, yourself, part of the all, the All, God.

God is both an impersonal divine animating force that permeates all of life and an extremely personal one that manifests uniquely to the individual according to their nature and destiny

The personal aspects are the bridge between the individual and the impersonal divine, they are divided up into archetypes, Gods and forces that mirror sacred realities in all of nature that are most relevant to the individual. Aspiring to them, merging oneself with them, finding one's dharma through them is what allows the individual to link to and connect with the impersonal and have it act through them.

That said, things like the Gods aren't simply handpuppets or empty vessels the divine force uses as a mundane tool, the individuality of their personalities, their power over their own domains are total, they're sacred pillars of reality and it could not exist as it does without them.
