Even when you turn that into the adult version where God wants you to bring him the best "animal" from your "flock," it's hard to see where Opus Dei can get the idea that all of weird torture and mutilation shit they are into is a pleasing offering to the Lord. It's not.
I ask about Opus Dei specifically because even more than how much the USA fucks me over, I think IOR fucks me over even more.
