It's not hard to picture there are rich people like that also that use more complicated ways to do their dirty business.
If 5% of world's population are paedophiles and people in power positions are widely accepted as having higher rates of sociopaths then it stands to reason among the elite there would be at least 5% of them who are paedophiles plus a good percent of them who are sociopaths and see a way to make money or influence from it.
Now think how embarrassing if normal family have paedophile son. Now imagine finding out paedophile son not only embarrassing for family but also for company and any companies connected to that company and would cost them alot of billions of us dollars. You cannot dob them in. So either you kill the paedophile secretly or you help cover up for the paedophile to avoid many companies and families going bankrupt.
I don't know about the eating babies and sacrifice part but I do many paedophiles exist and many times people will need to cover for them and provide for them.
