Know that even Peter got caught in a moment of weakness and fear and denied Jesus 3 times, and you know what Jesus did afterwards once He was resurrected?

So one does not have to say "I'm not a christian" to be an apostate, by one's act people can fall in apostasy.
Matthew 12:31
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
This is the unforgivable sin: blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. What you did does constitutes a moment of weakness and not a blasphemy against the holy spirit because your heart still understand that you did wrong. If you did not recognize your mistake then you would have a problem, because that would mean that the holy spirit is not acting in you.
