My brother and sister did the same but they are quite a bit older than me so they finished while I was still in school and that is when I found out that unless I willing to move away from my hometown, I wouldn't be able to find a job as a teacher here so I started looking into something else.
The neat thing that ended up happening is that now in school for hairdressing I've been offered a spot as a teacher there once I get 3 years experience in, so I may still get to be a teacher.

It's also a really good country if you like seeing new things but don't actually want to leave your country. You can drive for hours in any direction and see a bunch of different landscapes and there are parks literally across the entire country so you can always find a spot to camp whenever you want to stop for the day.
Living conditions are pretty great, but I'm pretty sure we're starting to collapse under our ever expanding social services. Health care is great and all, but I think we under estimated the cost of everything and now we literally cannot tax the poeple enough to account for the amount of the gov't needs to pay for it. So that sucks because now you can end up waiting a day in the emergency room just to see a doctor.

The Slavs arrived here back in the 7th century.
They converted to Christianity in late 8th century and early 9th century
We had a bunch of wars with the Byzantines
Then we had alot of wars with Bulgaria
Then we started fighting with the Ottoman Turks
The battle of Kosovo happened, both sides pretty much got the shit kicked out of them and had to retread.
We became their vassals in 1396,
We stopped being their vassals in 1402
We started fighting them and took part in the Varna Crusade.
We fell under the Ottoman rule in 1459.
We had 2 massive revolutions in the 19th century
We got full independence in 1878
We fucked the Ottomans in the first Balkan war
We started WW1
We created Yugoslavia
Yugoslavia fell apart
And that brings us to today.
That was the vastly over simplified history of my country,
