The Demiurge is your ego, all the attachments that you identify with that are not your ‘true self.’ The illusory matrix that the demiurge constructs is not literally the entire world, it’s just your personal world, your little bubble, the things that define your ego/identity but do not in any way affect the core “you.”
Look past the illusions of ego and you may gaze upon the One, which is the Self. The ego is all that differentiates you, all the things you identify with that together sustain the illusion that you are separate, discreet. The things you call “mine”
