And it would stay $11.50 an hour, forever, because the motherfuckers never let me complete Pathways and they wouldn't give me the raises I was entitled to until I did.
I mean the bastards never let me do Pathways. I'd get assigned Auto and Hardware, do that, try and sneak back and do Pathways, the floor manager or store manager would intercept me and say "Anon, they need your help on Aisle 13 (Cans)." I'd kill that off with the quickness, start to move towards the training room, and they'd catch me and ask me to help out in Dairy. Lunch, then kill off Dairy, then they'd proactively find me and tell me to help finish off Frozen next. Last break of the night, I'd finish off my designated area, and then get assigned to zone three others.
14 fucking months. They were supposed to fire me after six months for not completing it, but they just kept extending the deadline because I was clinically proven indispensable..
