So was a GATE thread, so I'll post it here in hopes that someone looking for the thread sees it.
>>269389437I'm not a newfag, I just never really delved into the GATE thing. Reading this has me spooked. I remember getting my IQ tested. I remember the headphones, I remember the right click left click they made me do when I heard the sound. I remember years of being afraid of Tuesdays because we got "allergy" shots. I went to private school most of my early life, so I was potentially spared of being put in a special group (that is, if I'm not repressing memories) but I was not allowed to join the art program in High school, of which, I'm particularly suited. I was denied on the grounds of my portfolio being on a laptop rather than traditional media. I was constantly placed in schools and areas where I would be harassed and occasionally it turned physical, so I grew up thinking the world was better off without me. I didn't think I was ever in GATE, but now I'm not sure.
